We bought a bloodhound puppy for auction from a reputable breeder, she's at present ii years sometime and we already had a 3-year-sometime small/medium dog in the house. Our one-year-sometime granddaughter stayed with us for a few weeks and she was great with her. The canis familiaris did turn effectually too fast and the baby wobbled a little. Merely our female person Bloodhound let her lay all over her and climb on her without incident. From our experience, they do keen with other animals and kids of all ages. She merely wants to lick and sniff everyone.

Our Bloodhound was precious. She was non only good with children, she loved them. The kids climbed on her, slept with her, ate with her. My niece and friends baby boy were with our domestic dog from earlier they were a year old. Likewise, we had another dog already in our home, and several dogs at family functions and Daisy wanted zippo more than to play with them. Unfortunately, our piddling girl passed at nine years quondam from cancer. If I always get over that loss, I would actually consider getting another.

Depends on how Bloodhounds are raised. Nosotros have a male person Bloodhound who grew up with my daughter and we can literally cal him a babysitter. All-time canis familiaris ever! He sleeps with her and takes every step she takes. If they are raised and trained correctly they make wonderful family dogs and are fantabulous with children.
